Treasury Operations Specialist

Summary

 

The Treasury Operations Specialist is a bank operations position that includes providing customer support on bank treasury management products and electronic funds transfer.  It is a diverse position designed for the individual that enjoys customer interaction while at the same time can work efficiently with a variety of products and daily workflow deadlines.

 

Responsibilities

 

Treasury Management Activities

•-          Provide timely customer service for a variety of treasury management products including on-line banking, ACH, account set up and correspondent services.

•-          Maintain customer files and records

•-          Report and collect banking fees for services performed

 

Wire Activities

•-   Process all incoming and outgoing wires according to bank procedures, including domestic wires, standing wires and international wires

•-   Maintain all wire agreements

•-   Correspond with customers regarding wire activity as needed

•-   Maintain international wire database

•-   Participate in business resumption planning

 

Banking Operations

•-   Balance and process correspondent bank entries

•-   Balance and process correspondent lock box deposits

•-   Process cash vault ordering for commercial clients

 

Qualifications

 

  • College degree preferred.
  • Experience with treasury management products preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in banking operations.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and can do attitude.
  • Past experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high volume work environment.
  • Salary range of $35,000 - $40,000, commensurate with experience
