Senior Accountant - Treasury & Cash Management

Location: Portland, OR

Responsible for short-term investment of non-pension assets in accordance with TriMet Investment Policy and with direct oversight by Director, Financial services (designated investment officer). Maintain investment records, monitor portfolio and perform monthly reconciliation.  Perform accounting functions related to cash management, investments, and other reconciliations as assigned.  Perform related duties as required.

 

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, business administration or related field.

Five years experience of comparable senior-level and professionally related work in cash management, investments, banking transaction,accounting or similar technical financial responsibilities. Advanced level proficiency with  personal computers (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access database preferred) and accounting, financial or investment software applications.  Experience with Oracle financial software products desired.  CPA preferred.

Or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
